Flirting Body Language with Hands - what both sexes do!
Hands are a fantastic flirting tool. When someone is attracted to you, they will start to correct and play with their clothing. They are suddenly conscious of how they look so they go through a process of checking everything just right. They then become conscious of their hair, they stroke it, play with it or flatten it, both men and women do this even bald men stroke their baldhead and they don‘t know their doing it.
People go though this preening process, it means they want to look their best for you. Women start to stroke themselves when they are attracted to you. Firstly, this brings attention to certain sexual areas such as the neck and breasts. I don’t mean women stroke their breasts. A women might put her hand to her neck and stroke downwards, all without realising. This directs a mans eyes to her neck and the downward action guides the mans eyes to her breasts. This is a sexual flirting body language signal.
Flirting Body Language with Hands - what women do!
She will also expose her wrists, this is also a sexual area designed to give men the , I’m interested in you green light. Some women use limp wrists, this is a submissive message designed to attract certain male types. You have probably seen gay men do this for the same reason. Women also play with the stem of a glass with her fingers stroking it up and down. She might use props such as the arm of her glasses or her straw. She could tease these props in and out her mouth. She is telling you she attracted to you, this also brings your attention to her mouth and lips.
Women usually shout at and deny this next part, don‘t shoot the messenger these are true body language traits. Women either consciously or subconsciously want you to notice her lips, that’s why they wear lipstick. Apart from being a sexual area, do you know why they want their lips to be red or derivatives of red? This is because when sexually aroused blood rushes to the extremities of her body such as her lips, this indicates attraction. Of course, women will deny this is why they buy it. This is what lipstick was originally designed for and has become an acceptable part of a woman’s wardrobe today. It’s this artificial creation of arousal that makes her more attractive to men and of course other women.
Flirting Body Language with Hands - what men do!
Men will use their hand in different ways. Have you ever noticed a man standing legs slightly apart thumbs in pockets fingers on the outside of jeans or trousers? Where are his fingers pointing? Yes you’re right towards his genitals. This is where subconsciously he wants women to look.
He will also be inclined to touch a woman he’s attracted to so he will find any excuse. He will touch a woman’s upper arm. This is low risk non-sexual area for her; he will also place his hand in the small of her back whilst directing her though a door or to a table. This is a confident action that she will feel and remember. This is great if you in a crowded place such as a bar and wanting to attract a woman. If a man puts his hand in the small of a woman’s back whilst he is gently trying to get through the crowd, when he returns she will remember him above all the other people pushing through. There is more, much more but you will have to wait for the next article in this body language series.
